We hit the streets of Denver.

Had an awesome team in Denver today for outreach. We gave out blankets, hygiene kids, socks, snacks, Bibles and lots of water to folks living on the streets. Last stop was to one of Colorado Village Collaborative’s communities. It’s really an awesome program for people struggling with housing. Salt Lake City is next.

I took my Jeep into a quarry.

https://youtube.com/shorts/0gG3YVG-M60?feature=shar e  Minneapolis wasn’t really on my list to do out reach but God put in my heart to go to Walmart and fill up my Jeep with stuff. The manager of the store was very kind and donated all the socks. I headed to a pretty rough part of North Minneapolis near the Salvation Army. I spoke to two armed security guards at a church near the Salvation Army. They said if I gave out anything there, they would most likely sell it to buy drugs.   One of the security guards made some calls for me to find out where I should go. His friend suggested I go to the encampment off of the Home Depot parking lot called the ”Quarry”.    I drove there and actually drove into the Quarry with permission. (It wasn’t a real quarry.) Looks like about 50 people were camped there. They were very appreciative of the socks, snacks, hygiene kits, water, oranges and Bibles.

Chicago is my kind of town.

Great outreach in Chicago on Saturday. Had a really good team of Jeepers. Gave away blankets, hygiene kids, socks, water, lots of snacks and Bibles to folks in camps under bridges and in parks.

St. Louis made me happy!

Today at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in St. Louis I gave out blankets, hygiene kits, socks, snacks, water and Bibles. I prayed with a few people for healing. Meet a very nice family of five that are homeless. They stretched out the blankets and had a nice picnic on the grass. Made me happy. Really appreciate our partnership with Beantown Blankets, Christianbook, Bombas Socks and Wade Walcher for setting up the location today.  Also appreciate Mission For Hope’s VP of shipping, Steven Ford for getting things shipped to the cities each week! #takesvillage #missionforhope #jeepershelpingthehomeless #jeepers #jeeps

Indianapolis Outreach Stop Was Incredible!

Image
Today’s first Mission For Hope outreach in Indianapolis stop was unbelievable! Indiana Christian Jeep Association Chapter    President Brian A. Engelhardt and his team put together 170 “huge” hygiene kits. Hygiene kits were different for men, women and children. Brian had so many donations he had to rent a trailer. Dayspring Center, a shelter for families was our first stop. We dropped off hygiene kits, blankets, books, toys, candy for the kids and Bibles. We’re also able to give them cases of granola bars & snacks.  Our next stop was the Wheeler Men’s in downtown Indianapolis. We were able to donate four boxes of blankets from Beantown Blankets, hygiene kits and cases of granola bars and snacks. Before we handed out the hygiene kits we helped out a little bit in the kitchen to serve 80 guests lunch.  After lunch we handed out full size hygiene kits to the men and prayed with quite a few of them.  I remember going to both facilities on my last trip three years ago. Such wonderful
