Last month I volunteered some time to photograph kids taking part in the Salem Community Boating. The kids I saw when I was out shooting were having an absolute blast! It was nice to see kids enjoying something new and really getting into it. From what I heard, it was a very successful first season for the organization . As well as donating photography services, I'm also donating 5% of my prints sales from any 2008 Marblehead race I have photographed.

I spent last weekend bouncing around in my chaseboat off of Marblehead photographing the PHRF Regatta. Great races but lots of chop. Over 750 photos of the races can be seen on my SmugMug gallery.... http://www.leightonoconnor.com/sailing

I spent a few days photographing the NOOD Sailing Regatta off Marblehead. The event was sponsored by Sperry Topsiders. I think I got some pretty cool shots.
