Buttoning Up

Image
Had to button up the Jeep for my trip to Miami Friday for outreach on Saturday. It was awesome having the top down & doors off in the sunshine state but not sure if I will be able to do it again on this trip. Lots of city stops.

Back home helping the homeless also.

1,500 Miles To Go

Image
Last night I booked 14 nights of hotel rooms for the next 22 days on the road back home. Friday morning I will leave Venice for Miami. Miami will be one of the 13 homeless outreach stops I hope to make in November. The trip will be at least 1,500 miles and I will go through 11 states. The week of Thanksgiving I have 3 outreach stops scheduled with different groups and hope to do 2 others stops on my own. So I will only be spending a few nights in the woods in November but kind of have to to keep expenses down. If you would like to help out with a tank of gas, sponsor a stop or a leg of the trip, please go to my website ( http://missionforhope.us/support ) or I can send you links to PayPal, GoFundMe or Venmo. Thank you! #missionforhope #takesavillage #jeeps #jeepers #givingback #helpingthehomeless

Making big friends

Made some friends in Big Cypress Monday.

Mobile Mobilized

Because of the Nor’easter back home a few weeks ago the Beantown Blankets didn’t make it to Mobile, AL on time for our outreach but my friends at Redemption Church stepped up to plate and partnered with at One Meal in Mobile to give out the blankets along with a hot meal, hygiene kits and water to 150 people last Sunday. #thankyou #takesavillage #missionforhope #jeeps #jeepers #givingback #helpingthehomeless

Early bird catches the sunrise & more.

Didn’t sleep real well last night so hit the road around 3ish. Took a few hours to pack the Jeep and I washed the doors after I put them back on. Also finally put on my Wicked Jeeps wave decal this morn. It’s kind of needed in the southern part of the state. Did one last stop at the Southernmost Point and took a cruise down Duval Street and played a little bit of Gospel music. Caught the sunrise in Islamorada HeadIng to Miami this week via Venice to spend some time with family. Outreach in Miami on Saturday. Looks like it will be just me. Had to have the donations sent to a UPS store near my hotel. Oh well....God must have a plan for Saturday. #missionforhope
